So we did Relay for Life last night. I was there from about 4 p.m. to just before midnight, when we decided to collapse the canopy (collapse=destroy, in this case) and head home. I don't think I've ever been so wet in my life. Yes, because Connecticut's new slogan is "The Rainy State," it was pouring last night as we made lap after lap around the track. I soaked a t-shirt, two sweatshirts, my shorts, and most especially, my socks and sneakers. Oh yeah, and my Red Sox hat. I think the whole pile is still dripping. I'm sooo tired today too, but we had fun and many laughs, and it was all for a worthy cause.
And right now I'm rewarding myself with my four Tivoed episodes of The Office. God, I love this show!
